The Skill For Life course is delivered by volunteers called 'Observers'.

An Observer is someone who has already passed the IAM Advanced Test and subsequently gone on to do further training within the local IAM Group. This additional Training ensures they can pass on the information and experiences they have gained to other people wanting to prepare for the IAM Advanced Test themselves.

The SfL package includes everything you require to pass the Advanced Driving Test; a copy of "How to be an Advanced Driver", membership of the Institute for a year once you pass, membership of your local group for a year, and the test fee.

The Skill For Life package costs £99 (less if under 26 years old). That isn't much more than a tank of fuel. You'll probably save the fee several times over in fuel savings as a result of a smoother driving style!
