Welcome to the Harrogate Group of Advanced Motorists (4129).

The aims of the group are to promote and train members of the public to achieve higher driving standards. We hold monthly meetings, often with a guest speaker. This website contains information about the training program and how to apply online.

Harrogate, North Yorkshire and the surrounding areas have some of the most beautiful and also the most dangerous roads in the country. The A59 from Harrogate to Skipton and the A61 from Harrogate to Ripon both have very high accident rates. We want you to enjoy these roads and be safe. We will help you get more smiles per mile.
